My name is Ben, or Benjamin. I respond to both names. I try to add value to peoples’ lives, including my own, through writing.
This is your life and I’m going to tell you about it. In America, there is a cultural disagreement of which the resolution is long overdue. The disagreement is about what kids should be learning in schools and who should be teaching it – the teachers or the parents?
You don’t have to look far beyond the memes to see that our society is producing 18-19-20-and-21-year-old adults who don’t have a clue what they’re doing. They don’t know how to pay their taxes. They don’t know what a 401K is. They don’t know how to cook. They don’t understand credit or insurance. They don’t sleep. They don’t eat healthy food or exercise enough. They can’t write, argue, defend themselves, or stay married. Rather than waste my years convincing people to get off their rears and turn our public education system around, I’m just going to start doing the work myself and teaching kids and adults how to live.
This is your life, and I’m going to tell you about it.
